After a year of false-starts and kicking and screaming, Dav Clark and I are finally ready to really work on KeepOpen.com and the artists community that we're going to build there. KeepOpen.com should be up and running in some form before the beginning of the year. We've decided to extend our focus beyond the Artist's community we'd originally intended into the micro-business community and non-profits. The way we see it, Micro-Businesses and Non-Profit groups carry the same sort of burden as artists. Namely, either not being able to afford the tools they need to promote themselves, or being a little technophobic. I am really looking forward to building the tools that people need to make it out there on their own. And by out there I mean, in the "World Wild Web". Greg from myIT.com and I have been working together on and off for a year now, and after referring a few clients my way, he's decided that he wants to make it official. We're all partnered up. Isn't that cool? I've got a partner with built in hosting and IT support capabilities, an they're right in my back yard. myIT.com: Outsourced IT for Your Business.
Well, at long last, I've put up a new site for myself. Every year or so (or as it turns out, every two years) I put up a new site for myself. Well, you're lookin' at this year's volume. Unlike previous years, I'm including a link to the previous versions of the site and including in this version ONLY work that had been executed in the last year. So, in the next year or so, hopefully you'll notice new work popping up from time to time, and next year I'll start another volume. Or not. Maybe I'll change my mind by then. ;-)
